Sponges and Flan

Photobucket

Around midnight, I decided to go to Ralphs to pick up a couple necessities. While the aisles aren't so crowded and the parking lot is blissfully deserted, all the inconvenient stuff happens at night: rearranging displays, restocking the shelves, and apparently ripping up the floors. They were doing some serious construction this time- their concrete-destroying-saw was so loud that my ears are still ringing. Since I was desperate for something to draw, I hung out by a freezer case for half an hour and got some stuff down on paper. I need to work on my perspective. And my figure drawing.

  1. Did you really draw this while in the supermarket? If so, that's awesome!

  2. Definitely while in the market; no one seemed to mind, and one guy requested that I get his good side.
